Parque Station was originally designed in 1959 by Francisco Keil do Amaral and decorated with tiles by Maria Keil. In 1994, it was enriched by the enigmatic artworks of Françoise Schein and Federica Matta that highlight the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Era of Portuguese Expansion.
Marisa Filipe guides us in this artistic fusion, reveals the symbols present there that tell stories and tells us about the important figure, Aristides de Sousa Mendes, honoured through the work of the sculptor João Cutileiro, who goes unnoticed by many.

She has a degree in History – Cultural Heritage from the University of Évora, a postgraduate degree in Rehabilitation and Restoration from E.S.A.D and a Master’s in Development, Local Diversities and World Challenges from I.S.C.T.E.
As a guide, she has worked in the most diverse palaces and museums, from Mafra Palace to Ajuda Palace, Pena, Queluz, among others. She is passionate about the baroque and espionage in the 20th century.
